Apply for the 2016 Builders Course Scholarship
Introduction
This page outlines the purpose, eligibility and selection criteria of the proposed scholarship program to be run by Back to Basics. Back to Basics plans to provide 2 x Builders Management Packages free of charge to two successful applicants. Applicants will be employees or colleagues nominated by current and completed students.
Due to multiple requests to extend the application process until after the busy Christmas period; Back to Basics, in accordance with the clause 3 of the terms and conditions of the 2016 scholarship program has extended the closing time until the 31st January.
Purpose
At Back to Basics we believe that there are two keys to any successful business:
Back to Basics is looking to run a scholarship program as our way of giving back to the Building and Construction Industry; in particular, giving back to the people and organisations that have helped to build Back to Basics to the industry leading organisation that it is today.

Applications Close: Sunday 31st January 2016
Interview Shortlist Determination: Sunday 7th February 2016
Interview Period Opens: Monday 8th February 2016
Interview Period Ends: Friday 12th February 2016
Successful Nominees Determined: Wednesday 17th February 2016
Nominees Announced: Friday 19th February 2016
Nominees may Commence Course from: Monday 29th February 2016

The following sets out the minimum requirements to be eligible to be nominated for a sponsored course position:
Course Information
The successful nominees will receive entry free of charge (sponsored by Back to Basics) into the Builders Management Package offered by Back to Basics. The successful applicants will have two years from the date of registration to fulfil all the requirements of the Builders Management Package. Upon completion of all requirements, the successful applicants will be awarded with their Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) and a Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).
