So do you laugh or cry?
Well, it depends on whether or not you are the owner, the builder, the council inspector and what your situation is!
One thing is for sure… words were spoken. But which words???
Can you suggest some phrases that the building inspector might have said when he/she first turned up to provide the final sign off on the house? We will publish the best… obviously there may have to be some editing on the language!
The building and construction industry is no different to any other – lots of things can, and do go wrong!

Now that’s what you call a break down in communication!!!!!!!
I’ve heard stories about miscommunication in the construction industry. It is always bad for everyone. People lose time and money and the construction company loses money and time.
Making sure they understand each other is undervalued.
… Was there not a point in time when either the builder, concreter, or civil guys actually bothered to visualise the location of the house on the plan when compared with what they were doing? Accidents happen for sure. But this? I dont feel so bad about some of my mistakes now.
